During the mission, several special forces groups were airlifted by Black Hawk helicopters and landed on the western outskirts of Pokrovsk, dispersing across the industrial zone. “We managed to gain precious time so that the main units of the Armed Forces could approach the city with reinforcements. After that, everyone stopped saying the city had been taken,” said HUR Chief Kyrylo Budanov, commenting on the operation.
