Russia launched a mass drone attack on Zaporizhzhia overnight on September 21, damaging residential buildings, a shopping center and three buildings of Zaporizhzhia National University. The third university building suffered the most severe damage after a direct drone strike caused a large part of the historic structure to burn. The building dates back to the beginning of the 20th century and is recognized as a local architectural heritage site. A fire covering about 2,300 square meters also broke out at a shopping center. Six people were injured in the attack.
