Ukrainian Special Operations Forces struck two Russian drilling platforms in the Caspian Sea, nearly 1,000 kilometers from the border. The targeted facilities were the ice-resistant stationary platform LSP-2 at the V. Grayfer field (formerly Rakushechnoye) and the LSP-1 platform at the Yuri Korchagin field. These platforms are considered an important part of fuel supply infrastructure supporting Russian military operations. The strikes aimed to reduce the military-economic potential of Russian forces.
