Russia launched a large-scale overnight attack on Kyiv using drones together with ballistic and cruise missiles, causing widespread damage across the capital. Residential buildings, civilian infrastructure and multiple districts were affected, with emergency crews continuing rescue operations at collapsed structures. According to Ukrainian authorities, at least 18 people were killed and nearly 90 were injured as of the latest official updates. The attack caused fires, partial building collapses and extensive destruction, while rescue teams searched for people trapped beneath the rubble.
