During the night of April 28, drones of Ukraine’s Special Operations Forces Middle-strike units hit a storage site for Iskander operational-tactical missile systems in occupied Crimea. The concealed equipment was located on the territory of a former missile base near the settlement of Ovrazhky, around 40 kilometers east of Simferopol. From this location, missiles could reach the frontline or rear Ukrainian cities within minutes. Resistance movement sources had repeatedly reported enemy missile launches from the site. The strike on these strategic systems is aimed at reducing Russian combat capability and weakening its ability to wage war against Ukraine.
