Footage shared from Oleshky in Ukraine’s Kherson region shows extensive damage across the city, with numerous buildings visibly destroyed or damaged and streets appearing largely deserted. Oleshky has remained under Russian occupation since the early stages of the full-scale invasion in 2022. The city lies on the Russian-held eastern bank of the Dnipro River, across from Ukrainian-controlled Kherson, in an area that has repeatedly been affected by fighting and shelling.
