Cherson är en hamnstad i södra Ukraina som fungerar som administrativt centrum för Cherson oblast. Till följd av den ryska invasionen 2022 var Cherson under rysk kontroll från den 2 mars 2022 till den 11 november 2022. Ukrainas väpnade styrkor befriade staden Cherson från rysk ockupation den 11 november 2022. Nu är Cherson under dagliga attacker, ryssarna dödar civila och förstör staden.
A drone strike hit a residential high-rise building in the Dniprovskyi district of Kyiv, causing a large fire that destroyed 36 apartments. According to local authorities, at least 8 people were injured in the attack. An 86-year-old woman was killed at the scene, while later emergency crews discovered the burned body of a man inside the damaged building. Footage from the area shows severe fire damage and destroyed sections of the residential complex following the impact.
