Archive video shows the dramatic downing of a Russian Ka-52 attack helicopter with a MANPADS in the industrial zone of Hostomel. The footage was reportedly filmed by a Russian serviceman around March 2022, during the early phase of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine. The Ka-52 “Alligator” helicopter was widely used in the initial assault operations, particularly in the battles around the Kyiv region.
