A Ukrainian machine gunner aboard a Mi-8 helicopter shot down seven Russian Shahed-136 drones during a combat sortie on the southern front. While operating in active combat conditions, the crew engaged multiple incoming loitering munitions, successfully intercepting and destroying all seven targets mid-air. The action reduced the immediate aerial threat and demonstrated effective airborne counter-drone capabilities.
