During an operation near Pokrovsk, their Leopard 2A4 from the 155th Brigade engaged an enemy sabotage group and saved Ukrainian infantry. On the way back, they came under over 26 FPV drone strikes, but the tank held — the crew survived. “Pokrovsk is extremely dangerous. Infantry can only move on foot,” says Chudik. “We hit enemy troops hiding in a building and covered our infantry. Then we learned a drone was tracking us.” “I decided to confuse the enemy and drive around Pokrovsk. They still found us — one FPV after another. The gearbox was damaged, but we managed to restart.” “Russians claimed we were destroyed or captured — but we’re alive.
