Operators of Ukrainian heavy bomber drones mainly conduct missions at night, targeting enemy bunkers, shelters, and concealed positions with aerial drops. The larger and more valuable the target, the heavier the payload used by drone system units of police rifle battalions. Ukrainian hexacopters have become a constant threat for Russian troops, who have nicknamed them “Baba Yaga” due to their nighttime strikes.

FPV operators of the “Justice Team” from the SBU Special Operations Center “A” destroyed a Russian BM-21 Grad multiple launch rocket system in the Donetsk region. The strike targeted the artillery system during combat operations near the frontline.

This footage shows a Ukrainian ground kamikaze drone carrying a 300 kg explosive charge striking a building occupied by a group of eight Russian soldiers. The drone crashes into the structure and detonates inside, demonstrating the growing use of unmanned ground systems in frontline assault operations and urban combat.

Border guards of the “Forpost” Brigade carried out strikes using FPV drones and heavy bomber drones against enemy transport and shelters in the Southern Slobozhanskyi direction. The operation disrupted Russian logistics and reduced the enemy’s ability to operate in the area.

In less than a week, Ukraine’s Unmanned Systems Forces “Raid” Regiment struck three Russian air defense systems. A 2S6 “Tunguska” was hit using a Bulava strike drone, while two Pantsir-S1 systems were targeted with RAM-2 drones.

FPV drones targeted a column of seven Russian assault ATVs attempting an attack toward the village of Riasne in the Sumy region on the morning of May 3. The strike disrupted the advance and hit multiple vehicles during the movement.

A Russian Ural truck loaded with ammunition was destroyed while in motion. The strike triggered a powerful explosion, resulting in the loss of the vehicle and its driver.

Enemy troops on motorcycles attempted a rapid assault as if racing through the battlefield, but fighters of Ukraine’s 42nd Mechanized Brigade quickly stopped the attack. The advancing force was engaged before reaching its objective, turning the attempted breakthrough into a dead end for the attackers.

The 1st Separate Center of Ukraine’s Unmanned Systems Forces carried out a strike using FP-2 drones against enemy vehicles parked inside one of the workshops of the former Bakhmut Electrotechnical Plant. The vehicles were first detected by a fiber-optic FPV drone. After confirming the target, Ukrainian forces used the more powerful warhead of an FP-2 drone to strike the facility and the equipment inside.

During the night of April 30, 2026, the Ukrainian Navy carried out a strike against Russian naval assets in the Kerch Strait area. According to reports, the attack hit the Russian FSB patrol boat Sobol and the anti-sabotage boat Grachonok. Enemy forces reportedly suffered both fatal and wounded casualties. These vessels are considered key units used by Russian coastal forces and the navy to guard the Kerch Bridge and conduct anti-diversion operations. The strike marks another step in reducing Russian capabilities in the Black Sea region.
