Footage shows a Ukrainian P1-SUN JetKiller interceptor developed by SkyFall engaging and intercepting a Russian Geran-5 jet-powered drone. According to the source, the target was hit by operators from Lasar’s Group using a remote-control system, which can allow the operator to be located hundreds of kilometers away. SkyFall previously stated that the P1-SUN JetKiller can reach speeds of up to 370 km/h, while the Geran-5 is reported to reach up to 600 km/h.

Ukrainian defense technology company Ratel Robotics is testing a remotely controlled turret equipped with a 12.7 mm Browning machine gun on its Ratel H unmanned ground platform. According to the company, combining the mobility of a ground robotic system with remotely operated weapons could allow combat missions to be carried out without personnel entering the most dangerous areas. The reported acquisition of Ratel Robotics by Swarmer and related investment details have not been independently verified.

Roboforce has developed a ground-based platform described as an “aircraft carrier” for FPV drones. The unmanned platform can transport up to six FPV drones simultaneously and bring them closer to the intended area of deployment. The system is designed to extend the operational reach of FPV drone teams while keeping operators and launch points farther from the immediate frontline.

Russian forces have reportedly begun equipping reconnaissance UAVs with protective systems designed to counter Ukrainian FPV interceptor drones. According to the source, the drones can deploy nets and threads intended to entangle the propellers of approaching interceptors, potentially preventing them from reaching their targets. The footage demonstrates the use of these countermeasures against FPV drones.

Operators of interceptor drones from Ukraine’s 15th Mobile Border Detachment, known as Steel Border, reportedly destroyed 13 Russian unmanned aerial vehicles during a single operation. According to the unit, the intercepted drones included six Gerbera UAVs and seven Molniya drones. The footage highlights the use of drone interceptors as part of Ukraine’s efforts to counter Russian unmanned aerial threats and protect its airspace.

Ukrainian company SkyFall has presented the P1-SUN Long, an upgraded interceptor drone developed to counter Shahed-type attack drones. The system combines autonomous targeting with AI-assisted detection, allowing it to identify aerial threats faster and reduce operator workload during engagements. According to the developer, the drone can be controlled remotely from virtually any location with a stable connection before switching to autonomous interception during the final phase of flight. The P1-SUN Long operates at altitudes of up to 9,000 meters, reaches speeds of up to 310 km/h, and carries an 800-gram warhead. SkyFall states that the platform has already been credited with dozens of successful Shahed interceptions. The project highlights the growing role of war robots, autonomous systems, military robots and AI-driven combat robotics in modern drone warfare.

Ukrainian defense technology company The Fourth Law released the first public demonstration of its autonomous target acquisition and terminal guidance system designed for the “last mile” phase of drone operations. CEO Yaroslav Azhniuk, also known as co-founder of Petcube and Odd Systems, shared footage showing real combat deployment of the technology. The system is intended to improve autonomous target tracking and strike accuracy during final approach stages in active operational environments.

Ukrainian military personnel conducted a test deployment of the American Hornet kamikaze drone using a high-altitude balloon system. The aerostat transported the UAV over a distance of 42 km before releasing it at an altitude of approximately 8 km. The concept is designed to extend the operational range of the drone by 1.5 to 2 times by enabling launch from elevated atmospheric positions, reducing energy consumption during initial flight phase and increasing effective reach for subsequent mission execution and target engagement scenarios. The test demonstrates an experimental approach to expanding UAV deployment capabilities through airborne launch platforms.

The German company Helsing has demonstrated the launch of its HX-2 drone from a high-speed landing craft. In April, the Ukrainian “Inquisition” UAV unit of the 59th Separate Assault Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces first reported operational use of HX-2 drones in strikes against Russian forces. The demonstration highlights potential integration of such systems with maritime platforms for future deployment concepts.
