The Spartan Unit, together with adjacent units, repelled a major Russian assault on the Pokrovsk direction. Russian forces attempted to advance in rainy conditions using cars, motorcycles, and ATVs, but the attack was stopped. Over 48 hours, 120 assault troops were killed and 6 wounded.
