FPV drones targeted a column of seven Russian assault ATVs attempting an attack toward the village of Riasne in the Sumy region on the morning of May 3. The strike disrupted the advance and hit multiple vehicles during the movement.
Enemy troops on motorcycles attempted a rapid assault as if racing through the battlefield, but fighters of Ukraine’s 42nd Mechanized Brigade quickly stopped the attack. The advancing force was engaged before reaching its objective, turning the attempted breakthrough into a dead end for the attackers.
In Lebanon, Hezbollah militants reportedly destroyed an Israeli Merkava tank for the first time using an FPV drone. The strike is said to have triggered an internal ammunition detonation, resulting in the loss of the vehicle.
The 1st Separate Center of Ukraine’s Unmanned Systems Forces carried out a strike using FP-2 drones against enemy vehicles parked inside one of the workshops of the former Bakhmut Electrotechnical Plant. The vehicles were first detected by a fiber-optic FPV drone. After confirming the target, Ukrainian forces used the more powerful warhead of an FP-2 drone to strike the facility and the equipment inside.
A Ukrainian FPV drone struck a truck carrying 11 Russian assault troops in the Huliaipole area of the Zaporizhzhia region. The strike targeted the vehicle while it was transporting personnel toward the frontline. The footage was attributed to skilled pilots of the “Phoenix” border guard unit, known for drone operations against enemy forces and equipment.
In Mali, Tuareg FPV drones carried out strikes against vehicles and personnel of Russian-linked forces and the Malian junta at a base near the city of Kidal. Footage shows multiple hits on equipment and positions during the attack.
The humanitarian situation in occupied Oleshky has reportedly deteriorated sharply. Since April 15, the city has effectively been under blockade. Vehicles carrying gas and food reportedly hit mines — the drivers survived, but since then no one has been willing to risk entering the city.
Food and basic goods are now in extremely short supply. To buy essentials, residents are forced to travel to Skadovsk via a mined “road of death” that remains under fire. People reportedly carry other people’s bank cards and pay a fee just to withdraw cash.
Around 50 children are still believed to remain in the city.

This footage shows fighters of the Morok Assault Battalion of Ukraine’s 225th Separate Assault Regiment during combat in the Zaporizhzhia region. According to the description, a Russian soldier appeared to surrender but then attempted to detonate a grenade. Ukrainian troops responded immediately and neutralized the threat.
The video highlights the extreme danger of frontline assault operations, where even moments that appear to signal capture can rapidly turn into life-threatening situations.
