Lasar’s Group of the National Guard of Ukraine repelled assaults on two axes and burned enemy tanks

In late January, Russian forces attempted mechanized assaults on Ukrainian positions in the Novopavlivka and Dobropillia directions. The attacks were repelled by crews of the Heavy Strike UAV Unit Lasar’s Group (NGU), together with adjacent units. The assaults occurred within the areas of responsibility of the 1st NGU Corps “Azov” and the 9th Army Corps of the Ukrainian Ground Forces. Reconnaissance detected enemy movement toward Ukrainian positions, after which Lasar’s Group heavy bomber drones engaged the targets. As a result, two tanks were destroyed and another was damaged. Drone strikes also wounded two enemy soldiers. The operation was conducted jointly with Azov Corps units and other Defense Forces elements using FPV drones and artillery.

Ukrainian Special Operations Forces Strike Enemy Military Targets in Occupied Territories

Over the past several days, units of Ukraine’s Special Operations Forces (SSO) carried out a series of successful strikes against Russian military targets in temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine. SSO units hit an ammunition depot and enemy personnel positions in the settlement of Zelenyi Hai. In Velyka Novosilka, they struck a temporary deployment site of a unit from Russia’s 29th Combined Arms Army, as well as ammunition depots belonging to a unit of the 58th Army. A UAV technical maintenance point of a unit from the 22nd Separate Special Purpose Brigade was hit in Tokmak. Additionally, an enemy UAV repair workshop was struck in the area of Mykilske. These operations further degraded the enemy’s logistics, personnel, and drone capabilities in occupied areas.
