Overnight strikes across Kharkiv Oblast caused multiple civilian casualties in both Kharkiv and Chuhuiv. A drone strike hit a residential high-rise building in the Dniprovskyi district of Kyiv, causing a large fire that destroyed 36 apartments. According to local authorities, at least 8 people were injured in the attack. An 86-year-old woman was killed at the scene, while later emergency crews discovered the burned body of a man inside the damaged building. A strike in Kherson hit an area near a children’s playground, leaving multiple civilians injured. According to preliminary reports, two children aged 3 and 6, along with their mother, were wounded in the attack. The father was killed at the scene. Emergency services responded shortly after the impact as footage and photos from the location began circulating online. The incident adds to a growing number of reported strikes affecting civilian areas and residential infrastructure in the region.
As of 10:00 a.m., Ukrainian emergency officials reported 2 people killed and 40 injured in Kyiv following a massive overnight Russian attack. Rescue teams have already saved 28 people from the affected areas.
According to the State Emergency Service, the strike hit five districts of the capital. Emergency workers, dog handlers, and psychologists remain at the scene, while rescuers have already removed more than 20 cubic meters of debris and evacuated five damaged vehicles.
Officials reported that two UAVs struck the central part of the city, with one of the confirmed impacts hitting a kindergarten building.

Kostiantynivka remains under round-the-clock Russian fire as the city continues to be systematically destroyed. Drone operators of the Phoenix border guard unit documented another attack, capturing evidence of Russian forces dropping heavy aerial bombs on the city during the night.

Around 50 children are still believed to remain in the city.
