Overnight attacks on Kyiv and Dnipro caused damage to several well-known cultural and civilian sites. Among the affected locations were the Assumption Cathedral of the Kyiv Pechersk Lavra, a Nova Poshta terminal, the House of Organ and Chamber Music in Dnipro, and the Dovzhenko Film Studio. Footage from the aftermath shows damaged buildings, shattered facades, and debris following another night of large-scale strikes on Ukrainian cities.

Overnight strikes across Kharkiv Oblast caused multiple civilian casualties in both Kharkiv and Chuhuiv. In Chuhuiv, missile strikes reportedly killed at least three people, among them a 22-year-old pregnant woman. Six more people were injured in the attack. Overnight attacks across Ukraine involved more than 600 drones and nearly 80 missiles, according to monitoring groups. The strikes caused casualties and damage in multiple regions. In Kyiv, at least 6 people were killed and 58 injured. Dnipro reported 6 killed and 33 injured, while Kharkiv recorded 14 wounded. Additional injuries were reported in Zaporizhzhia. Two separate videos recorded during the missile attack on Kyiv document different moments from the incident. The first footage shows a powerful explosion occurring directly near the entrance to an underground pedestrian crossing where civilians had taken shelter during the air raid. The second video captures a missile impact landing only a few meters away from a man standing in the area, recording the blast from extremely close distance. Both videos circulated widely online due to the proximity of civilians to the strike locations and the detailed footage captured during the attack on the city.

As of 10:00 a.m., Ukrainian emergency officials reported 2 people killed and 40 injured in Kyiv following a massive overnight Russian attack. Rescue teams have already saved 28 people from the affected areas. According to the State Emergency Service, the strike hit five districts of the capital. Emergency workers, dog handlers, and psychologists remain at the scene, while rescuers have already removed more than 20 cubic meters of debris and evacuated five damaged vehicles.

Officials reported that two UAVs struck the central part of the city, with one of the confirmed impacts hitting a kindergarten building. The strike adds to the growing number of attacks on civilian infrastructure, once again putting non-military sites in the direct path of drone warfare.
