Ukrainian Special Operations Forces, in cooperation with the Main Directorate of Intelligence, Missile Forces, struck two enemy Ka-52 helicopters and two Mi-8s in the Belgorod region of the Russia. All helicopters were destroyed by missile strikes in the enemy's rear, where the enemy had created a jumping-off point for aircraft - a camouflaged position for rapid movement or for surprise attacks.

Operators of the Special Operations Forces of the "Ballista" unit used FPV drones to hunt down an enemy Ka-52 "Alligator". The helicopter attempted to patrol over Ukrainian fields, but encountered a tactical group.

The Javelin missile has two attack modes - top attack for striking targets through the roof, and direct attack for engaging low-flying helicopters or fortified positions
