A Ukrainian FPV drone struck a truck carrying 11 Russian assault troops in the Huliaipole area of the Zaporizhzhia region. The strike targeted the vehicle while it was transporting personnel toward the frontline. The footage was attributed to skilled pilots of the “Phoenix” border guard unit, known for drone operations against enemy forces and equipment.
In Mali, Tuareg FPV drones carried out strikes against vehicles and personnel of Russian-linked forces and the Malian junta at a base near the city of Kidal. Footage shows multiple hits on equipment and positions during the attack.
During the night of April 28, drones of Ukraine’s Special Operations Forces Middle-strike units hit a storage site for Iskander operational-tactical missile systems in occupied Crimea. The concealed equipment was located on the territory of a former missile base near the settlement of Ovrazhky, around 40 kilometers east of Simferopol. From this location, missiles could reach the frontline or rear Ukrainian cities within minutes. Resistance movement sources had repeatedly reported enemy missile launches from the site. The strike on these strategic systems is aimed at reducing Russian combat capability and weakening its ability to wage war against Ukraine.
The humanitarian situation in occupied Oleshky has reportedly deteriorated sharply. Since April 15, the city has effectively been under blockade. Vehicles carrying gas and food reportedly hit mines — the drivers survived, but since then no one has been willing to risk entering the city.
Food and basic goods are now in extremely short supply. To buy essentials, residents are forced to travel to Skadovsk via a mined “road of death” that remains under fire. People reportedly carry other people’s bank cards and pay a fee just to withdraw cash.
Around 50 children are still believed to remain in the city.

This footage shows Ukrainian drone operators carrying out a coordinated ambush against a group of Russian soldiers on quad bikes preparing for an assault on the Pokrovsk axis. Two FPV drones strike in tandem, hitting the enemy group before it can move into action.
The video was released by the Dovbush’s Hornets unmanned systems battalion of Ukraine’s 68th Separate Jaeger Brigade.
This footage reportedly shows the aftermath of an attack that killed civilians who were trying to evacuate on their own. Personal belongings believed to have been packed by the couple for departure were found at the scene. The video is disturbing and serves as another reminder of the danger civilians face while attempting to flee frontline areas. Viewer discretion is advised.
This video documents another wave of Russia’s attack on Dnipro, where emergency crews were already working at the site of an earlier strike. According to Ukrainian officials cited by Reuters and AP, the city was hit in multiple waves over more than 20 hours, leaving at least 8 people dead and around 49 injured in Dnipro alone. Children were among the wounded, and apartment buildings, businesses, and other civilian sites were damaged.
The attack formed part of a broader overnight assault on Ukraine that also hit other regions, including Chernihiv and Odesa. In the final part of the video, the moment of impact on a gas station on the outskirts of Dnipro can be seen.
